A turn of the spiral
Sometimes the curious catches my attention. I find it fascinating the way this tree spirals round the woven wire fencing - and something else is being woven here, in the juxtaposition between the two.
I feel humbled in the face of natures ability to weave it’s way though despite our impact on it - and how the scars visible in the tree are, at one and the same time spiral growth, beautiful in its own unique way. I think there is something in this which speaks to me about how we weave the warp and weft of our own lives, working through obstacles as best we can
I’m with Leonard Cohen’s words
Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack in everything
That’s how the light gets in
Thanks to everyone visiting my journal and for your kind sprinkling of hears and stars on the kingfisher I was so fortunate to see and photograph yesterday
