There Be Dragons
Having spent the morning putting a first coat of paint on the study ceiling, we took a walk up to Street Hill this afternoon, where we caught a tantalising glimpse of the uncharted (well, since Christmas at least) lands beyond the hill.
Somewhere behind the hills and dales of Compton Dundon and Somerton in the blip lies the mythical land of Yeovil where knights clad all in green are reputed to take part in the strange and mysterious ritual of football. Who knows, one of these days we may venture back into these lands once again to witness them win a game - though after today’s road map it’s unlikely to be until next season!
As you can see, the sun and giddy prospect of freedom in the foreseeable future seem to have gone to my head. Talking of my head, by the time the hairdressers open again in April I’ll be in danger of tripping over my hair on the way in.
Anyway, it’s encouraging to have these dates and milestones to look forward to and the hope that by Summer things might be back to normal.
