Emergency blip

Icy like in hell. After raining yesterday, there was one centimeter layer of hard ice on roads and streets and on every surface.

After works at first I did not quite understand why hubby was so keen on staying indoors, even started vacuuming the home. But as I popped out I got the idea. It was so slippery!!! It was really hard to walk anywhere, so I had to bring some rough sand out from the housing company storage and threw it onto our yard. Phew, walking was possible again - at least to the car.

Anyway later in the evening we took our Steel stapled shoes and slowly walked to the suburban market area. It was slippery even with hard equipment. Anyway it felt nice to catch some fresh cool air after working indoors all day. - 8c (with wind chill maybe - 15c) was ok, but really awful conditions to walk. This is the slippery phase of winter that I hate so much.

The blip is from the supermarket, atleast there was sandy path.
