Logging On

We have now got at least 11 pheasant hens including a black one visiting the self-service feeder in the garden after which they waddle back over the field to sleep it all off. Our log pile from the hedge restoration has proved just as popular as the nearby lutyens bench to stand on as they are off the floor with a view around to see predators coming. My deer were watching her looking wary. 

Fabulous sunshine this afternoon and I took the dogs for a good walk and they are now lying sparked out and Tilly is even snoring.
