Brief respite

I was reliably informed that it has been a beautiful day. And as I left home to take Harry to his friend’s house so they could go on a socially distanced walk, I found it to be true. Clear blue sky and bright sunshine. Just gorgeous. I went to take some snaps and go for a walk.
Today was the first day of phase 1of the exit from lockdown. We are now allowed to bubble with one other family. In a moment of madness/kindness, I said that we could bubble with Charlie’s girlfriend. So at midnight she drove to our house and at 00.01they met outside! Young love.
In other news, my live maths lesson was met with great enthusiasm from my class. They seemed to enjoy it immensely, despite me having a few technical issues! Definitely room for improvement on my part. Tomorrow I get to try again.
