Lake Wanaka
Today was my last day in Wanaka after celebrating A Cycling Granny's 80th birthday this weekend. My daughter woke me up at 4:30am, and with no hope of going back to sleep, I decided to drive down to That Wanaka Tree on the lake before packing up the car to drive to Queenstown to fly back to Wellington. Whew!
I had very minimal gear, but made the most of what I could as the light changed between 6:00am and 7:25am. I noticed a familiar blipper (ACG) walking to this spot just before this was taken (quite possibly ACG's blip today).
Hard choice given I became more happy with the results after having a closer look. (see extras)
Nice to be back home, but back to the grid tomorrow. So long, beautiful South Island. Until next time.
