Hearts and gizzards!

I have wanted to make a quilt with this pattern block for ages but really couldn’t face all the curved piecing, but thanks to the clever people at Missouri star quilts it is now really easy to do. Granted you do have to sew the hearts down (like appliqué ) but I feel that could be quite a feature if I used metallic thread. What do you think?
