I wanted to be a train driver

But I didn't have the Latin

This was on The British Columbia steam loco and it's the provincial motto 

For years I thought it was  typical  Canada modesty "We are magnificent but we don't like to make a fuss about it"

Apparently it means Splendor without termination and is a metaphor for the Sun never sets on the Empire
