Cake

One of the marvellous pleasures of lockdown has been that, more or less every week, PY has been baking. We’ve had carrot cake, no flour chocolate cake, upside-down cakes of the pineapple and plumb varieties, orange cake and a whole lot more. This week’s treat is a lemon and lime cake (can you guess what fruits needed using up?) and, at 9am this morning it came out of the oven.  It smells delicious.

It’s going to be on the counter haunting me all day and I won’t be able to have a slice until later.

I really need to do more exercise to cope with all the fantastic food that I get to eat at home.
