Texel - we’re leaving
Our weekend on Texel is coming to an end.
Checking out at 10 am.
We went to see a photo location I had in mind, but didn’t go, to for a sunrise. It's the "Iron Sea Cap" on the east side of the island. It’s a sort of beacon for ships, it has no light on it.
I took this photo with my iphone. Wrong time of the day, but I now have visualized this location. Maybe I will come back here some day in the future.
We then went on to the 'Sommeltjespad'; a trail in a forest for little children. When Bas and Daan were little, we took some photos there, with Daan leaning against a wooden mushroom. We have a version when he's 3 years old, 9 years old and today we made the 14 year old version. (in the extra section)
I have to dig up the previous versions, to make a tryptich of it. Should be fun.
At 11.30 we boarded the ferry to Den Helder and at 14.15 we came home in Delfzijl.
In the evening I co-hosted the webinar of the Scotland trip by Fotografie-reizen.nl, together with Ron and Yolanda. That went well, although one hour turned out not to be enough.
