Wave Watching
We needed to collect some things from the vets surgery today as well as some shopping from our sons house. So afterwards, we took the dogs down to the north of the island, where we can walk around the headland and possibly the beach. Whilst there, we watched the spindrift spray, blown from the crest of the waves. The south wind was very strong and made quite an impact. There is a small rainbow in this one. In the extras is a view of the beach from the headland, where many people were going for an afternoon swim. We saw at least fifteen people swimming whilst walking the headland and only two wore wetsuits. The sea temperature is 9C at the moment and I think it is a bit chilly at 19C in the summer ;) Brave souls!
It was nice that the dogs did not encounter any mud whilst out and as we didn't go on the beach, they are also not sandy. It was a bonus for me and them not to have to wash them when we got home again.
