The Old Forge (Tuesday 23rd February 2021)

Diary blip. It may not look much changed from the last picture with the scaffolding, and not much happened yesterday apart from a delivery of battens, but today all the tiles were removed, it was made waterproof, broken tiles replaced, rafters repaired, new felt added and most of the tiles put back, with just a few bits of finishing off to do tomorrow.

I am currently reading the Mojo magazine of April 2014, whose cover CD contained all-new versions of all the tracks from Led Zeppelin's Physical Graffiti, released in 1974. I particularly enjoyed In My Time Of Dying , an old song, originally known as Jesus Goin' A-Make Up My Dyin' Bed. Blind Willie Johnson recorded it in 1928.
