Ok, so, worms...

Genuine excitement when I saw these fellas today! Peeled back the carpet on the top of my compost heap and was surprised to see them, and then surprised at how many - what unexpected joy! I obviously immediately text my mum with this incredible news, as she is my gardening guru.
I guess you don't know what will bring delight until you just have Nothing. Else. To. Do. :D
Vague sarcasm aside, I really was surprised and excited to see them, it shows nature isn't forsaking my compost heaps and is helping me. The weather has clearly warmed up a lot in the last week and a half. I said hello to them all (not individually).
