Christian Concert in Capital City!

In the centre of Abu Dhabi, capital city of the Emirates, at the well renowned Armed Forces Club, (under the patronage of the President himself, Sheikh Khalifa) Michael W Smith and Brenton Brown performed their music before a crowd of over 5000 congregational members from the various churches around the country.........and that, on a a Friday too!!!

What a privilege....and what a testimony, to the relationship between the Rulers and the Church Leaders, for such an event to take place.

GK and I were once more honoured to be invited as guests (VIP) so had front seat arena viewing, and enjoyed 4hrs of old familiar songs and chorus's and some newer ones. All great worship songs and the atmosphere of just being there was well worth the journey to the capital at the end of an otherwise busy Friday!

Home in very reasonable time and bed before the clock struck midnight!!! That had to be a bonus for this week for me!!!!

I know the artists look very pale but my camera has a mind of its own and nothing I did would alter that!!! Think there were too many white lights on stage! but I liked the effect it insisted on giving me and so that's how I've left it!!!
