One legged goose surveys incoming enemies....!

Actually they were all swimming together later, so no animosity there really. Went to Bingley today to have my vaccine at the medical centre there - very slick operation and I was taken in straightaway in spite of arriving a little early.  Grey and windy day, but decided to walk back along the canal and ended up at 5 Rise Locks where I bought a takeaway coffee.  I love the names of the boats on the canal and liked “Johno’s” colourful barge (with “Senior Moment” in the background), “Blow It” and “Anastazia” which looked like a military vessel (extra).  The second extra features catkins blowing in the wind, the iconic 5 Rise Locks, Johno’s barge work, and the daffodils beginning to flower at the entrance to St Ives which are going to look wonderful.  I had decided to walk up to home, and was buffeted by the strong wind all the way,  but it was a nice walk which certainly blew the cobwebs away!  Have a rather painful and heavy arm this evening, but no other side effects so far, so happy with that!
