Red Squirrel Comings and Goings

Dear Diary,

I've become a documenter of squirrels this winter.  Having them visit again is such entertainment during these days of isolation.  They come to my breakfast room window to let me know the seed bowls need filling; Rudy loves to lounge by the hot tub on cold days; Gracie pauses for a wee wash-up on a limb of Auntie's tree ( see her pink tongue?) and they all leave their foot prints on the seed can. Rudy has dug quite a tunnel system as well (extra); perfect bolt holes incase an owl or hawk approaches.  A life with squirrels is never boring.
