Late Afternoon

Went for a late afternoon walk after P had finished clearing up some stuff in the garden. There was an interesting cloud pattern - high streaks, subtle colours - as the sun went down. Can't justify tagging it for Wide Wednesday - it'd have looked even better with a wide-angle lens but I only took the longer one in case we saw the barn owl. We did see the latter, but flying low the other side of a hedge, so didn't manage to get that shot (again).
