Domestic duties of a superhero

A weird weird day...not helped by Nate being off school unwell. Too unwell to go to school (and spread the heavy cold to his friends and teachers), but not unwell enough to be all cuddly...just that in-between that meant his behaviour has been pretty awful for a lot of the day and left me feeling at my wits end. Then a guy had a cardiac arrest in the little galeria opposite our flat and suddenly there was a lot of drama and activity of police and ambulances. After 20 minutes CPR and difibrulators they managed to revive him... and my poor Mom's not well and in hospital too. Also the restrictions were due to be eased a bit next week but we've just heard that won't happen for at least another 2 weeks. The entire day has just felt 'off'. But this emergency blip was a nice moment when Nate was behaving and helping with the dinner.

Today I'm grateful for;
1) The police saving the life of that man. He was only 40 apparently! 
2) Mom being in the best place. 
3) Not being a single parent! Utmost respect to those that are.
