1313 promise

1-3-13 St David's Day

Welsh dragons and daffodils should the order of the day today. I will avoid any reference to the former, however I did manage to photograph some daffodil shoots appearing in the front garden now the snow has melted.

These same flowers were blipped in 2010.

Daffodil's make me both happy and sad. They bring back memories of my dad. The shoots give promise of the flowers to come.

On another note, early this morning my daughter pointed out the recurrence of the number "13" in today's date and whether this was an omen for her driving test which was scheduled for 9 am?

Congratulations were in order as she passed (at the first attempt)!
