Helibore heaven.

There is a complete bed of them here and this year my change of tack, removing all leaves before the buds even start to appear, has stopped the mice eating them. It does appear that if there is no cover then they stay away. Unfortunately the same can't be said for the local deer who have munched the tulip leaves to the ground, fingers crossed the buds haven't been affected.

This afternoon it was warm enough to be working in my Polo shirt, unusual for February!

This evening we all ate Thai chicken prepared by the lovely lady, it was yummy!
