After the wind blew
A couple of days of strong winds from the south have sculpted the dunes into luscious shapes.
Extra. A look inside one of the WW2 bunkers that were built in the dunes to prevent a German invasion that thankfully never happened. The bunker (pillbox) is half filled with wind-blown sand. The massive iron shutters that could be lowered over the gun slits, to protect the men inside, are still in place; a rare survival.
