An abundance ..

.. of crocuses, but the problem just now is that it rains heavily in the morning flattening the flowers, the sun comes out in the afternoon, only it it is now behind the crocuses so they don't open.  Maybe next week.  
The extra shows the other problem we have in the garden that of water- logged clay soil.  There is often a deep puddle around the edges of the lawn so J has dug a trench and bought some broad plastic drainage piping that when in place, should carry the water elsewhere. Using the internet to learn new skills is keeping him busy :-)
