Not for me
But it did look rather good. A colleague whom I've known since 1977, when we were training on Hawks at RAF Valley (the first course to do so) retired from the airline business not long ago and promised himself that when he retired (again) from the RAF he would buy himself a Mustang. I had a glance inside and the quality was much better than I remember from years ago.
In the Extra is a RAF pennant – I visited my home station for the first time in a couple of years to hand in my kit. I felt a bit sad – 46 years after joining the RAF – but life is changing anyway and the career that I've enjoyed has come to a timely end. Time to move on . . .
