Curlew Mania

A terrific day at work, the children were really great and enjoyed their allotment play and jobs so much.
At lunchtime I shot to the supermarket, and amazingly caught a flock of over 60 curlews on a playing field just off Ferry Road.  Sadly it is a bird with a declining population, so to me sights like this can only be a good thing.  I hadn't realised that 60 % of Britain's breeding population lives in Scotland.
I came home to a lovely dinner cooked by 'M'.
