Rose bud.
As it was such a mild day I was tempted out into the garden to start what should have been an autumn job, clearing all the Whitebeam leaves from Clickychick's "woodland garden".
Of course I wandered round looking for a blip. I am always keen to see signs of spring, like the Great Tits prospecting the woodcrete nest box again. The shots taken through the window weren't any good. Then I saw that the rose was beginning to shoot quite well. So that is the blip a new shoot on the rose bush.
