Stripes

 Abstract Thursday theme painterly.

Don't know if this counts as abstract, and I'm not sure exactly what painterly is.  
Anyway it's a crocus, with stripes which look a bit like brush strokes.

 I was just driving through Alcester this morning, and heard and saw two police cars in my mirror going at high speed with the blues and twos on. I  thought they had heard about the two old codgers who were sitting on the bench together by the church with a coffee and were going to arrest them for a bit of non approved mingling, but they sped past  so it must have been something REALLY important.
Anyway, I pulled over to let them past and scraped a layer off my car alloy wheel . Grrrr.
