Before the chop
Four years ago we had 7 phormium plants as part of our garden design. We are only down to one plant now. This one together with another was chopped down today and moved to our shared common garden so we’ll still get to see it. This particular specimen was smothering some Azalea plants.
I spent quite a long time in the garden today and discovered that my rodent friends, wood mice, I think, have been nibbling my emerging tulip leaves. I am not very happy about that. They may need to move house. It was nice enough to sit in the garden for a short while.
