Party time!

Annika and Lasse and Mika (the dog) are about to arrive for some social time. The weather rewarded our perseverance because the predicted cloud and rain/!) stayed away and we got moonlight, stars, and dry weather. The mulled wine, prosecco, bread and cheese is in place, and the soup is soon to arrive. We humans sat here 3 and a half hours before the cold finally reached our bones. So lovely to eat together, chat about the world and catch up with the news. Mika the dog went to bed in the warm after 2 and a half hours. The crackling of the fire made her a little nervous, and not enough food came her way.
We are really getting a lot of use out of the new veranda!
