Looking down
JJ and I slithered our way around the wood this morning; it's not getting any easier underfoot. Plenty of snowdrops away from the path and the primroses are pushing through, but I didn't spot any wood anemones.
There was a lot of drilling going on by both the green and greater spotted woodpeckers, and we could hear jays in the distance. No people, which was good, although I suspect that will change over the weekend. It's a gloriously warm and sunny day and we had our morning beverages outside soaking up the sun.
The shopping has been delivered and put away and JJ is over the back clearing more brambles.
The irises have really spread so I thought a view of one bunch from above would suit Flower Friday.
