Good friend

My lovely friend Pat who I worked with at the charity shop for many years is leaving the area and moving to Wales to be nearer her family. I must admit I encouraged her but will miss her and not just because she makes fabulous cakes. She came for coffee today as we are her bubble and produced two large pieces chocolate cake ( for Tedwin) and two pieces of teabread containing mincemeat and almonds which for some reason she was not happy with, tasted fine. She also brought the yellow roses. Like many people living on their own she has found lockdown an ordeal.

What a super sunny day, walked the golf course again only in reverse, the ground is drying nicely.
