Stone faces
The romanesque church of San Bartolomé de Puelles, in the rural concejo of Villaviciosa, has a strange collection of faces on the capitals that support its porch. It´s possible that these were salvaged from an earlier structure, possibly the church of San Saturnín, which no longer exists.
The Church of Spain does not seem to place value on the fabric of its romanesque churches, and the extra, a picture of the rear of San Bartolomé, shows why I say that.
