The story so far.........
Well I am making some new flower beds including a couple from the patio and blah, blah, blah, boring, boring, boring, YAWN.
Today I put in drainage pipes and loads of pea shingle. D2 told me about Two Ton Tracy, a lady with a tipper truck that can transport two tons of "stuff". She was delightful, a broad Norfolk accent, blonde hair, shorts (well more like wide's) and a great big smile. The pea shingle I got from her, including the delivery charge, was less than half the price of the normal suppliers. It was also about a ton more than I needed but it will be useful to top of flower pots for the next 65 years.
The beds are looking better now which is a relief. Next will be top soil but Tracy told me to wait until after Easter as the quality of the current soil is poor. Well if Tracy says so I will not argue.
