Surprising sunrise

It's hard to beat the light in the mornings now (not that I am unhappy about that) so by the time I got up over the hill to face east it was properly light and I thought I had missed sun up. But then as I sat watching and listening to the crashing waves, up it popped. Wow! It was beautiful. 

Definitely a good start to the day. I am blipping early this eve as I am going out to a restaurant with a friend - how lucky am I? I hope you have enjoyed some sunshine today in the UK at least.
