The bird has flown

It's been a beautiful day and I did a little gardening this morning.  This afternoon I went for my walk and as I was near home saw a pair of jackdaws on this chimney. They took one look at me and flew off (I have that effect) but I managed to catch the slower of the pair before it disappeared.

I love the shape of the chimney pots, I can see some identical ones from my house.  The bases remind me of strawberry planter.
