Bee Bum

It's been a while since I've photographed insects, so keeping up with these honey bees was quite a feat today. Many of my images were blurred or minus any bee, and many were like this one. That's due to the fact that crocus flowers are quite closed up, so all you get is the rear end of the bee as it's busy collecting the nectar.

But it was worth getting muddy knees just to enjoy seeing the first insects of the Spring.
