Tavern Beach

I made an early start today and got out for the dawn ... although there wasn't anything to denote dawn actually occurring. Still, dawns don't have to be dramatic they always provide a soft light and frequently you have the place to yourself!

I walked down to the beach and then round St Mawes harbour and on to Tavern Beach. I was drawn to this boathouse and I used a long exposure for this shot.

Later in the morning we took the ferry across the river to Falmouth and had a walk around the town and had a nice lunch. I'd like a bit of sunshine and a slightly warmer temperature but it's not a bad life!
