Loadpit Beck, Gilstead

Another area that Sal introduced me to. I had been down to the Beck in my childhood on visits to Shipley Glen but had never been in the woodland on the opposite side of the valley. It wasn’t a very long walk but nonetheless very enjoyable.
Saw a couple of Jays but was unable to get photos as I only had my iPhone with me. It was nice just to see them though.
Each time I visit I always say that I must return in autumn as the colours must be amazing but I never get round to it, maybe I will get there this year.
