Spring Garden

If the appearance of 7-spot ladybirds were a sign of spring, today's warm sunshine reinforced its approach. After quite a heavy frost, it's been a beautiful day. The cloudscapes were a sight to behold, too - cumulus clouds piled layers high bowled along, while those where the sun shone through had a clear silver lining.

When the weather's like today's, it's a lovely time of year in the garden: few annoying flies, no grass to cut, but everything beginning to bloom.
