The sun was setting as I climbed the to the top. There was a American Kestrel keeping watch from a dead branch at the top, and then this view out over the hills, with the red bark of an Arbutus Tree in the foreground, with the grayish green of the lichen, vibrant green of the moss, and deep green of the Arbutus leaves....
