Calm Sunny Morning

I walked down to the lake first thing this morning, it was calm and sunny.  Was intrigued at how many seagulls there were, just floating. 

Shame that someone has cut the bottom branch off the tree, it doesn't look the same.  That was about a year ago now.  Oh well, at least they didn't cut the tree down!  The extra is of the rowers walking their boat down to the lake.  As the lake is quite low at the moment, they had to walk out a fair way.  Looks like a mixed 8.  

I did a nice walk by the lake, then home to to my usual Saturday chores. It is another hot day +27C.  

As a reward for all our hard work last Saturday, the family and I are having dinner out tonight.   Probably a Pub meal.
