New to the World

It has been another grey day with a misty start and not a breath of wind. Hopefully we will get some sun tomorrow.

This Monarch butterfly was drying its wings as it had just hatched. It was interesting watching it.

I brought some daffodils to plant in my Akaroa garden at the garden centre this morning. So pleased I got the garden watered a bit last week as there is a total ban on any watering outside. you can only use recycled waste water. Hopefully that doesn't last too long.
