Bedside Beadwork (back blip for Wed)

This, while at first sight, it looks like a magic carpet, is actually about the size of a Christmas card. So, at best, it's a magic carpet for mice. It's on the bedside table at David and Hessie's and acts as a drink coaster, although I'm not sure that that's its official use, so probably best not to mention that I said that.

I like the colours in the beadwork, and also the fine, silky fronds at the ends; one of which shows up on this photograph better than the other, due to my inability to get the lighting right.
