Meet Bella

We have new neighbours and share our front fence. They are still doing jobs out of town and left Bella alone overnight two weeks ago. She wasn’t happy and barked most of the night. I kindly let them know Bella wasn’t happy and offered to have her in our garden if they go away again. They have taken me up on the offer and Bella is trying to work out whether she likes it here or not. We went for a walk around the block to get some essential supplies....here she is waiting for me outside the shop. 

Bella is a purebred Australian Kelpie and has a lovely nature. They were bred for mustering and droving sheep and cattle with little or no guidance. They are energetic and make good pets if you don’t need them for work. 

Had a friend Bev and her husband Ross call this morning to raid the garden for plants as they have a new garden. They stayed and talked for ages. Otherwise nothing to report.
