RECORDING IN PROGRESS FOR SILLY SATURDAY

Hello lovely flippers – sorry I meant slippers - Arghhhh - what I really said was BLIPPERS!

You might think the above looks silly, but I heard Mrs HCB say that she had a very sore and painful hand making it difficult to type, which meant she would be dictating her journal, so I decided to try and do the same. 

Actually it’s not quite as easy as you might think especially on these new fangled devices that have what they call “predictive text“. This means that when you dictate something it hears what you say but then it changes it to something else because it thinks it hasn’t heard properly so it can actually be quite embarrassing! 

Instead of using her new fangled phone thingy, we decided to gather round Mrs HCB’s radio microphone to try and record something for Silly Saturday - and we know that Admirer especially would giggle to see that you are called flippers then slippers, until I had to spell out BLIPPERS! 

We are keeping a careful eye on Mrs HCB to make sure that she doesn’t do any typing for a few days because we know this makes her hand hurt even more – but she wanted us to say how much she appreciated all your lovely comments yesterday, as well as the stars and hearts. You are truly a great bunch of flippers, oh no- it’s done it again, I meant BLIPPERS!

Hopefully, before too much longer Mrs HCB will be back commenting again but until then she wishes you all well and hopes you have a great weekend.  Mr. HCB is busy in the garden, but he has forbidden Mrs HCB to go out there - and for once she is doing as she's told!
