What a cracking morning for a few holes of golf and the first game I’ve managed to get with Stan this year. No snow or rain to keep us away and, as an added bonus, no wind. Played the back nine, done and dusted by 10 o’clock, perfect! No sign yet of when we’ll be able to play in a three or foursome, so I’m expecting the competitions scheduled next month to be postponed. Not that that’s a big deal for me as the return of scorecards will no doubt see my game go down the pan. For now it’s just great to be out there enjoying it.

We’d a full house for the quiz tonight and amazingly not too big a conversation rammy. It’s still great to regularly catch up with everyone and there’s always some news to chat about. The Hearts match was on at the same time but it reflects on their form just now that there was almost nothing happening for Jack to report to his fellow Jambos. We’re stuttering along but ‘must do better’!
