back on the road

It’s been around 10 weeks since I went out on the bike.  Not a lot seems to have changed since last time ( see extras).

It was 7 degrees C, which was fine when stationary, but once I got moving, it became a little chilly down South.  Plenty of MAMILs* out in shorts, but far too soon for me.

The bike had spent the intervening time outside in a metal locker.  Condensation was really bad - a combination of all the rain and cold weather - and I was a bit concerned about rust and mould.  

But when the bike finally emerged into the sunlight, it was just fine and dandy and raring to go.  

A good ride and then home to a coffee and a big fat almond croissant.
