A beautiful place...

on a lovely day! Came up here to see if the waders were back and delighted to see Lapwings, heard them at first, then saw them!
Later, saw three Woodpeckers together in the Pines, rather unusual, so watched. They were flitting about , then one came right above me and drummed in my  tree. He was answered by another of them drumming in a neighbouring tree! So good to experience this!
Down by the burn, on the sunny bank found the first Celandines.
A wonderful Spring day!
Spent the rest of it in the garden.
