Spiers Wharf

Although it was a miserable morning I continued with my plan to walk a part of the Forth and Clyde Canal from Spiers Wharf to the Firhill Basin .... but before I could start my walk I needed to take a trip on the Glasgow Subway. On my journey to and from Cowcaddens I had a carriage to myself so no problems with social distancing.

No blue skies today but no wind either so the canal was calm and the reflections OK. Fishermen, cyclists, joggers, dog walkers and myself, of course, all enjoying some fresh air and a walk along the tow path.

Just as the canal exits the Firhill Basin you come upon The Nolly Brig complete with ......
