Early morning sunshine.
Yet another day with wall to wall sunshine, but cool in the shade with a keen breeze blowing. After some half hearted digging of the rose bed I headed to the greenhouse to separate some of last years Primulas which needed thinning out and re-potting. Some of the foliage had turned brown from the base which is never a good sign and not surprisingly I found a number of Vine Weevil grubs in most pots - see extra. They are easy to remove from the soil and the Robins love them. Will now have to water the pots with a special bug killer in case there were eggs there which I couldn't see.
