Blackthorn blossom

Out early this morning to get the paper and saw blackthorn blossoming for the first time this year. Seems early to me. Lots of daffodils now flowering too. Then I saw a little egret that frequents the beck but a dog frightened it away so I couldn't get a photo. A more eventful early morning walk than usual. Followed by a gloriously sunny day. It felt warm working out in the garden and i even wore sunglasses.
